Anti Chafing
Anti Chafing – Tips to Help Keep Your Feet and Skin from Chafing
Chafing on your feet, or any other part of your body for that matter, can be
a very painful ordeal for anyone to suffer through. This very irritating
and sometimes painful condition is brought about in one of two ways. It is
either caused by constantly having the skin on one part of your body rub against
the skin on another part of your body. This is usually seen with the
thighs, as they are constantly rubbing together when someone is walking or
running. The other way that chafing is caused is when something like a
shoe rubs against your foot while it is sweating, as the sweat only exacerbates
the situation. Luckily for those athletes who do a lot of walking or
running, there are some anti chafing methods you can use to keep this from
happening.
Anti chafing methods can be broken up into 4 different categories. The
first category deals with hydration. Staying hydrated by drinking plenty
of water both before and after your running session will to keep you from
chafing. The reason why staying hydrated can help has to do with the way
in which people perspire. Drinking plenty of water will allow you to
perspire much more freely, meaning the sweat on your feet won’t dry up and
crystallize, which is what causes the chafing. Going along with the talk
about perspiration, keeping yourself dry is another way to keep from
chafing.
If those things don’t do the trick for you to help
keep you dry, then another anti chafing method you might try is our anti chafing stick. It's
